YDOC with Iridium Edge

The YDOC Data Logger support an Iridium Edge module connected to its accessory port, see here for more information. The SatVUE portal provides support for accepting data from the YDOC which sends its data through the Iridium Edge module using its compressed format to minimize data consumption. In order to use the Iridium Edge module with the YDOC and SatVUE portal the following is required:

• Connect an Iridium Edge module to the YDOC Accessories Port.
• Configure the YDOC to send the desired data using the Iridium Edge module. See Section 4.19.10 Iridium Satellite of the YDOC Manual.
• Create the required Device Fields in the SatVUE portal and map them to the values upload by the YDOC/Iridium, this is done using the P1, P2, parameter codes in the YDOC to the YDOC/Iridium Index parameter in the Device Field settings in the SatVUE portal.
