SatVUE communicates via satellite, using the global Inmarsat IsatDataPro network, assuring reliable, continuous data transmission and control of your devices, from anywhere in the world.

You can preset SatVUE so that, if key thresholds on site are passed, a signal is sent to alert local staff for quick action or to anther SatVUE to trigger automated action. You can also receive automated alerts by email and make manual changes via the SatVUE web portal.

A typical setup

Below is how SatVUE monitors and controls 3 sites. Each SatVUE can monitor multiple parameters per site, and any number of SatVUE devices can be deployed.

1. SatVUE collects on-site data from multiple sensors, transmits it to the satellite and responds to preset triggers or user commands via web portal
2. Inmarsat Satellite communicates between SatVUE and an Inmarsat Ground Station
3. Inmarsat Ground Station transmits data to SatVUE Cloud
4. SatVUE Cloud collates all data in a central repository and generates analysis, reports, triggers and alerts
5. Web Portal provides user access to SatVUE Cloud for data and reports (via web-enabled device), and enables control of remote SatVUE devices
